Digital photos from Burningman 2004, a pretty successful showing over the week.

The installation as it looked on the playa. Here the whole control top is visible as well as one of the speaker units.
Dusk as looking out toward the open playa. This shows the side of the unit, and two of the speaker modules. Both the lights inside the unit and the rope-lighting have turned on.
The side of the unit lit up. Coming soon as desktop wallpaper.
Most of the circle shown, lit up. It's dusk on the playa, so the light is really nice.
This is the new control top with the individual modules. We moved away from the whole sheet drilled plexiglas method to these laser cut modules that we can pretty much bolt down into anything.
Around the center knob you can see the layout of the songs that we had this year. A user was able to turn the knob to tune into the soundscape.
These are the controls that each user could use to manipulate the soundscape. These are the new swanky knobs you can sponsor.
A swanky macro shot of the nylon bolts that we used to affix the modules. The nylon was strong, by but wouldn't put excess pressure on the acrylic. Looked cooler too.
Quite often we'd come up to feed the generator, and there would be several people playing at once. Sometimes there would even be a line, or people hanging out dancing to it.
The installation as viewed against the city. The larger light ring we used (three 18' sections of rope lighting) made the unit more visible on the playa from afar.
Especially at night, people were groovin'.
